Setting the Stage

It seems like yesterday that we started our I Have a Dream dance collective. Though in reality, we are already half way through our first genre of Hip Hop. Time will only speed by faster from here!

Over the past few weeks, we at Scarborough Arts have been setting the stage (so to speak) for our next genre: Contemporary! (Woohoo!) This will be with our next dance instructor: Jennifer Robichaud. However, she is only available on Fridays and after our Stage 2 Poll, it seems that this fit well with the majority of our collective. I would like to send an apology to those who are unable to make this workshop. Our collective will miss you! However, please welcome yourself to check out the workshops when you are available. And of course, you are still registered for the 3rd genre, so make sure to attend!

The details for Stage 2: Contemporary genre is as follows…

  • It will occur every Friday commencing May 6th (after your 1 week break).
  • To accommodate our students better, we have changed the times for this genre. The new time for the Contemporary genre will be 5:15 to 8:15 PM.
  • These workshops will be held at the McGregor Community and Recreation Centre.

More details regarding Stage 2: Contemporary genre will be posted as we move closer to the end days of our Hip Hop genre. If there are any questions, comments or concerns regarding the next genre, please email, call or speak to me after our workshops!

Within the next few days you will be receiving an email regarding another poll. We want to make sure you are getting what you want out of the IHAD program so make sure to follow up with your comments and suggestions!
